Work on real-world AI
Build systems that interact with customers in physical environments, not just controlled digital flows.
Careers at Biscuit AI
Most AI still lives behind a screen. Biscuit brings AI into the places where customers are already making decisions: stores, aisles, counters, lobbies, kiosks, and service points.
We are early, focused, and moving quickly. If you want a role where your work can shape the product, the customer experience, and the company itself, this is the moment to join.
Mission
Retailers are under pressure to deliver better service without adding more labor to every location. Customers still want help. Associates still need support. Brands still need insight. Stores still matter.
Biscuit gives physical locations an always-available AI layer that can answer questions, recommend products, tell product stories, capture demand signals, and help teams learn from what customers actually ask.
This is not about replacing the human side of retail. It is about giving every location more coverage, more consistency, and more intelligence.
Build systems that interact with customers in physical environments, not just controlled digital flows.
AI, data, hardware, UX, reporting, deployment, and customer outcomes all matter here.
We have product built, early deployment momentum, and a clear category to own. The next hires will help define how Biscuit scales.
Our work touches retailers, brands, venues, staff, and shoppers. You will see how the product performs in the real world.
Working model
Our engineering base is anchored in New Zealand, with a focus on fast product execution, AI-native development, and practical systems that can support physical deployments.
Our go-to-market and customer-facing work is anchored in the United States, close to enterprise retail customers, strategic partners, pilots, and deployment opportunities.
Physical AI has to work on site. Some roles may involve travel for pilots, launches, customer workshops, partner meetings, and field learning.
Priority hiring
These are the highest-priority hiring lanes for Biscuit. We are also interested in exceptional people who can create leverage outside a neat job title.
Own the commercial motion for physical AI in retail. Shape pipeline, enterprise conversations, partner opportunities, sales materials, and the repeatable path from pilot to expansion.
Turn customer interest into successful launches. Own implementation planning, customer onboarding, pilot readiness, feedback loops, and expansion playbooks.
Build the platform that powers Biscuit's AI agents, customer-facing experiences, internal tools, integrations, reporting, and deployment workflows.
For exceptional people who do not fit neatly into one role but can create leverage across product, AI, deployment, GTM, operations, research, or customer experience.
Talent community
We are always interested in meeting exceptional people across these areas, even when a role is not actively open.

What we value
We test, measure, and learn from evidence. Real-world AI improves through observation, not opinion.
Physical deployment rewards detail. We care about reliability, handoffs, setup, documentation, and repeatability.
Every interaction should serve a customer need or business objective.
Stores create signals. We turn those signals into better experiences, better systems, and better decisions.
AI changes quickly. Retail changes constantly. We build for both.
The goal is to make customer-facing teams more capable, not to remove the human judgment that makes great service work.
What candidates can expect
Biscuit is early-stage, so roles here are broad. You may write strategy in the morning, talk to a customer at lunch, and ship something by the end of the day.
Hiring process
A practical conversation about your background, what you want to build, and where you could create leverage at Biscuit.
We go deeper into the role, the company stage, the product, the customer, and the operating reality.
A focused exercise related to the actual work: a customer plan, product critique, technical review, GTM strategy, deployment plan, or build task.
A discussion about expectations, timing, compensation structure, working style, and what success looks like in the first 90 days.
For immediate fits, we move quickly. For strong future fits, we keep an active talent community as new roles open.
If you want to work on AI that customers can actually walk up to, talk to, and use, we should meet.
